Melanie Scott K9 Training uses the following terms and conditions to provide you with the safest and highest quality service standards. Please note that by using our website and booking a consult with us you are agreeing to be bound by the underlying terms and conditions.

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
There is a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. You may reschedule or cancel your consult up to 24 hrs prior to your consult without incurring a fee. If you cancel or reschedule after this time you will be charged the full price of your consult.
If you miss or do not attend your consult and you have not contacted us prior, you will be charged the full price of your consult.
In certain circumstances Melanie Scott K9 Training may need to reschedule your consult due to extreme weather, illness, injury or medical emergency, you will not be charged a cancellation if this occurs.
Your credit card details will be kept in strict confidence and you will be billed if you do not abide by our strict 24hr cancellation policy.
All consults will be conducted outside where possible. Social distancing of 1.5 metres between staff and clients is required.
If you are unwell or a close contact of someone who is suspected of having COVID-19 or linked to a know case please contact us ahead of time to reschedule. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your consult if you are ill or do not comply with these rules. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
Melanie Scott K9 Training staff will wear a mask and we would prefer for both your safety and ours that you please wear a mask.
Please use hand sanitiser before and after the consult.
Disinfecting and sanitising of equipment is conducted by staff between consults.
Melanie Scott K9 Training maintains staff and client records for each consult which may be provided to DHHS in the event that contact tracing is requested.
Liability Release and Training Agreement
I understand it is my responsibility to supervise my dog for their safety and the safety of others. I accept that training results are dependent on my participation and dedication to the training program therefore Melanie Scott K9 Training does not offer a training guarantee.
Training dogs involves risk. I acknowledge that there is always an element of danger and risk involved with any activities relating to Melanie Scott K9 Training, and that accident or injury may result from such activities. I agree to carry medical and accident insurance, as they deem necessary, to protect the myself, my dog, family or guests from harm, loss or injury.
I indemnify, release and hold harmless Melanie Scott K9 Training, its managers, trainers and agents from and against any costs, fees, expenses, liabilities or claims arising from my participation in Melanie Scott K9 Training activities or training, or from any conduct or activity arising from or relating to Melanie Scott K9 Training activities or training that may result in any illness, injury, death, theft or damage, including participation in, travelling to and from, practicing or watching Melanie Scott K9 Training activities or training.
I, as a material part of the consideration to participate in activities herewith, hereby assumes all risks of injury to persons or damage to property, in, upon or about the property, and I hereby waive any claim and respects thereof against Melanie Scott K9 Training.
Any banking or credit card details will be kept in strict confidence.
Melanie Scott K9 Training does not sell or pass on your information to third parties.
We may send you promotional information, special offers or newsletters through your provided email address. Newsletters contain an opt out button if you do not wish to receive them.
Any training advice, articles, information, logos and photos/videos displayed on the website remain the property of Melanie Scott K9 Training and may not be reproduced or reused without written permission from the company.

Extreme weather and heat policy
Training must be conducted in the shade or in a cool indoor environment in temperatures over 30°C. This is for the health and well-being of your dog. If the daily temperature is predicted to be above 30°C please keep your dog cool and rested before the consult.
Training will continue in all weather conditions unless there is a significant risk to the safety of yourself and your dog. In these circumstances your consult will be rescheduled without you incurring any fees.
